Influenza Vaccine 2010-2011

UPDATE: INFLUENZA VACCINE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON A WALK-IN BASIS FROM 9 AM UNTIL 5 PM ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 9 AND FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10. MORE DATES WILL FOLLOW.

Influenza vaccine for the 2010-2011 season is now available at Pomona Pediatrics.

We have available the FluMist nasal spray vaccine. This is appropriate for children age 2 years and up WHO DO NOT HAVE ANY UNDERLYING MEDICAL PROBLEMS (such as asthma.)

We also have the preservative-free injectable vaccine for children age 3 and up. We are still awaiting the arrival of injectable vaccine for children from 6 months through 2 years of age. Please check this site for information on the arrival of this vaccine.

Vaccination dates will be scheduled during September and October. Alternatively, your child may receive the influenza vaccine at well care visits, as well as at sick visits which do not involved fever or infectious diseases.
